These terms explain the agreement between you and LawnSignals when you use the website, apps, and related services. By creating an account or using LawnSignals, you agree to them.
What LawnSignals provides
LawnSignals combines your lawn profile, local conditions, soil information, and care history into planning, reminders, educational recommendations, and assistant features. Features can vary by platform, region, account plan, and release stage.
Your account
Provide accurate account information, keep your sign-in credentials secure, and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use. You are responsible for activity on your account until you notify us. If you are not old enough to enter this agreement where you live, use LawnSignals only with a parent or legal guardian's permission.
Lawn-care and assistant guidance
Lawn conditions vary from yard to yard, and recommendations can be incomplete, delayed, or wrong. Use your judgment and confirm important details before spending money or performing work. Before using a lawn product, check its current label for your turf, site, rate, timing, and precautions.
Assistant answers and photo matches are generated from available context and may not identify a lawn issue correctly. Treat them as a useful starting point, not a guaranteed diagnosis or a substitute for an on-site professional when one is needed.
Subscriptions and purchases
Paid features may be offered through an app marketplace. The price, billing period, trial, included features, and renewal terms shown before purchase control that transaction. Subscriptions renew through your marketplace account unless you cancel them there before renewal.
Manage cancellation, renewal, and refund requests through the marketplace account used to subscribe. Deleting the app or closing a LawnSignals account may not cancel an active marketplace subscription. Your content
You keep ownership of the lawn records, notes, questions, and photos you submit. You give LawnSignals a limited permission to host, process, transmit, and display that content only as needed to provide, secure, support, and improve the service under the Privacy Policy.
Submit only content you have the right to use, and avoid including people, private documents, or unrelated sensitive information in lawn photos, notes, and support messages.
Fair use of the service
Do not interfere with the service, bypass account or plan limits, probe for vulnerabilities without authorization, use LawnSignals to harm or impersonate someone, upload malicious content, or resell the service without permission. Do not use LawnSignals in a way that violates another person's rights or applicable law.
Third-party services
LawnSignals relies on external services for weather, location lookup, email, notifications, subscriptions, hosting, and AI-assisted features. Those services may have their own terms, may change, and may occasionally be unavailable. LawnSignals is not responsible for third-party products or websites you choose to use.
LawnSignals ownership and license
LawnSignals and its software, design, branding, and original content are protected by intellectual-property laws. Subject to these terms, you receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the service for its intended consumer purpose. No other rights are granted.
Availability, changes, and beta features
We may add, change, limit, suspend, or discontinue features as the product evolves. Beta features can fail, change, or produce incomplete results. We will try to give reasonable notice when a change materially affects a paid service, but urgent security, reliability, or legal changes may happen sooner.
Suspension and account closure
You may stop using LawnSignals at any time and can close your account from Account Settings. We may limit or suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect the service or others, investigate misuse, or address a serious violation of these terms. We may close an account for a material or repeated violation after reasonable notice when circumstances allow.
Disclaimers and liability
LawnSignals is provided on an 'as available' basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties and are not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from use of the service. These terms do not limit rights or remedies that cannot legally be limited in your jurisdiction.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as LawnSignals changes. We will post the revised date and provide additional notice when a change materially affects your rights. Continuing to use the service after the updated terms take effect means you accept them; if you do not, you may close your account.
